Amirah earned the class crown from Miss Jones for being "The Queen of Improvement". She has worked hard all week to maintain a growth mindset! Miss Jones is so proud of her for her progress.
Tonight our Guthridge students proved that hard work pays off! They all did an amazing job at the spring program.
Sidney Dhooghe in Mrs. Good's class passed all of her Math Study Island topics and was rewarded with a meal from McDonald's. Way to go, Sidney!
We are playing a Kahoot review game to get ready for state assessments.
Guthridge staff was treated to a "Teacher, You Are Gold" breakfast at PLC this morning.
Guthridge 4th and 5th grade music concert! Kids need to be at the Parsons Municipal Auditorium at 6:15. 4th graders, don't forget recorders! Students should wear nice school clothes and close toed shoes.

Mrs. Good's class played store today and had to convert mixed numbers and numbers in word form into decimals to add up the total amount of their purchase.
Students in Mrs. Gordon's class work on pairs using a strategy called "Rally Coach". One student is completing the problem while the other cheers them on or coaches them through the problem. Then, they switch roles.

Students in Mr. Holmes' and Mrs. Gordon's math intervention class got to be the teachers, today! Mr. Holmes did all of his math problems incorrectly. The students all used pens to grade his work, correct his mistakes, and give him feedback on how to improve next time!
