Parsons USD 503 is pleased to welcome Morgan Hizey to the Viking family.
Hizey will be teaching seventh grade English language arts at Parsons Middle School.
She received her elementary education degree from Fort Hays State University.
This is her first year teaching, though the past five years she has worked in USD 503 schools serving as a para, aide, or substitute.
She has a son and a partner. She likes to hike and play in competitive adult softball and volleyball leagues.
In regards to teaching, Hizey said: “My hope is for every student to know they’re important and want more for themselves, to always grow and learn.”
