Parsons USD welcomes Camryn Blanton, an employee of Tri-County Special Education Cooperative, working for 503.
Blanton will be a Kid’s 1st Preschool teacher at Lincoln School.
She received her bachelor’s in elementary education unifiers with a minor in inclusive education, and her masters in special education high incidence/low incidence K-12, from Pittsburg State University.
This is her first year teaching.
“I grew up in the Kansas City area and moved to Pittsburg following high school graduation to play volleyball at Pitt State. After a career-ending injury, I liked Southeast Kansas so much I decided to stay and finish my degree.
“I am so excited to work in such a close-knit community and look forward to meeting students and their families in a few weeks.”
