Concerns that Tuesday's voting at the Parsons Middle School polling station would potentially coincide with work being completed at the middle school, led to the county' earlier decision to move the polling station to the Parsons High School Community Room. By 9 a.m. about 18 voters had been welcomed by poll workers to cast their ballots and the city sales tax question.
Parsons District Schools food service employees are hard at work this week serving meals to the 180 youths and adult staff with Group Workcamps who are in town for the Parsons Paint Project. The district, again this year, is housing the missions group for a week at Parsons High School while they are here to serve the community through painting homes and building wheel chair ramps and doing minor home repairs.

Log in to your parent portal to enroll. If you need help logging in, please call 423-8809 now or any of the buildings starting on Tuesday, July 18th. All returning students will enroll online with the exception of PreK & kindergarten. If you have a PreK or kindergarten student you will need to enroll them in person, Aug. 3 at Lincoln school. New students will need to enroll in person at their student's school beginning July 18th. Please bring their birth certificate, social security card and immunization record.
