First graders enjoyed visiting Presbyterian Manor to play bingo and make connections within the community. It was such a great experience! Students are excited for our new friends to visit Lincoln next and create special memories. 💙💛

Why do birds have beaks? First graders in Mrs. Manley's class participated in a science activity where students experimented by collecting "food" with the different shapes of beaks that birds may have.

After reading the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Mrs. Hicks's students participated in hands-on activities that brought the book to life—counting, sequencing, and learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. The most magical part was witnessing our very own caterpillars transform into butterflies. Today, we had the joy of releasing them into nature, completing the story in real life! 🦋
