Students performed "Totally Frank" for the elementary schools today! Because of several conflicts, we will not be able to perform it for the general public. It was livestreamed on the PHS Fine Arts Page so you can watch the recording there. It was great!

The Spring Theater production of Totally Frank is on "pause" for right now. We are working to try to find another date when we are able to have the full cast.

Parsons Chess team hosted its annual Chess tournament last weekend at the Middle School. In the K-8 division, there were 7 teams represented with a total of 44 participants in this division. PMS had 5 students participating in the K-8 division and earned 12.5 points. Kyle Chen earned the 7th placer medal individually with 4 wins. David Hinman earned the 16th place medal with 3.5 wins. Atticus Clark was 22nd with 3.0 wins. Carsen Riley had 2.0 wins. Steven Castle had with 1 win. Great showing and good effort !!!
Parsons High School Chess team earned the 2nd PLACE trophy today with 12.5 points!!! The High School team only had 3 members but were still able to pull away with a 2nd place medal . GREAT JOB GUYS!! There were 6 teams in the K-12 division with 29 participants. LUCAS FUGATE won the 1st place individual medal with 5.5 wins for the day!!! . A.J. Jenkins scored 4 wins to earn the 8th place medal. William Durflinger earned the 17th place individually with 3 wins . It was a good day for Viking Chess!!
Our next tournament will be in Chanute on Feb. 26th





USD 503 will be checking road conditions and the updated forecast early in the morning Thursday, February 17th. A decision to have school will be made by 6:00 AM. Parents will be notified if school is canceled.
