PHS students attended the Neosho County CC Sophomore Experience Event this week at the Mitchell Technology Center. They learned about career technical programs such as plumbing, aerospace structures, and auto technician! They got to see a PHS alum, Chase Sanborn, in action.



Forensics @Ft Scott today. Brelin Summers/McKia Lawrence 4th & Payton Corbett/Xavier Cervantes 3rd IDA. Gyzelle Palmer 2nd Poetry/6th impromptu, Adian Marshall 3rd DI. Shea Clark 1st in POI and 1st in DI and 1st in HI. Overall the team was second.

The next teacher we would like to recognize for CTE month is Mr. Bruce Rea!


KOAM's Anthony Saviello visited with drafting teacher Bruce Rea today about the electric 3/4 scale Humvee students built over 16 semesters, that is being donated to Pathways to Freedom to help raise funds to build the veterans memorial in Parsons. Catch the story tonight.

Out with the old and in with the new. Last week, the FACS kitchens received new stoves/ovens and a new dishwasher. Thank you admin and USD 503 for the update!







Juniors this week are preparing for the ACT. This includes practice tests, reviewing commonly missed items, and testing strategies. Just one of the many ways PHS prepares students for post-secondary success.



Viking Congress competed in Chanute last week with many finishing inside the top of their respective houses. Go Vikes!
