Parsons High School art teacher Kelsey Fabrycky on Friday provided her ceramics students with the chance to learn to fire pottery in an outdoor fire rather than in a kiln. Students also got to enjoy roasting marshmallows, make smores, and playing a bit of cornhole.

Parsons High School and Parsons Middle School orchestra students practiced Friday for their upcoming Fall Concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Parsons High School Auditorium.
Nurses from Community Health Centers were on hand Friday to help Parsons High School nurse Amber Jones administer flu shots to students and staff who signed up to receive one. CHC coming to the school saves lost time for students and teachers in the classroom.
