Auditions for the Spring Play will take place on Thursday, March 24th after school. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders may audition for the play. Students do NOT have to have previous experience in order to audition. If you are a student who is interested in ONLY working backstage as audio tech, lighting, set design, and costume design, you are still required to attend auditions on Thursday. However you will be able to leave early.
Tomorrow is Late Start Wednesday for all USD 503 schools.

Choir Concert
Spring Break is from March 14th - 18th.
We had the opportunity to host Ft. Scott, Riverton, Cheryvale, and Pittsburg in the Mass Orchestra in our gym today. The students packed the bleachers for the finale!

Parsons middle school hosted the Southeast Kansas mass orchestra today! We had a great time!

Middle School Track starts today after school in the Middle School Gym. Practice will end at 4:45.
Middle School Track will start after school tomorrow (Tuesday 3/8). Any 7th/8th grader interested in participating make sure to show up to practice or reach out to Mrs. Nolting with questions.
Last week Scholar's Bowl placed 3rd in the B bracket of our home tournament and then went on to place 4th in the A bracket at Ft. Scott! Way to go Parsons Scholar's Bowl!

The Statewide Tornado Drill is scheduled tomorrow 3/8 at 10am. At that time the MS will execute our tornado 'shelter in place' drill.

Tomorrow, March 4, is an early release day. All USD 503 students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon. The buses will run their regular routes, but will start at 12:00, which is 3 hours and 25 minutes earlier than normal.
MS Stuco met with Ms. Ray today during VT to discuss spending ESSER funds in the district. She even brought Krispy Kreme donuts for the kids :)
