SparkWheel Student Support Coordinator, Susan Hill, put on the Future Now Finance event for Parsons Middle School 8th graders today. Students chose career paths and lifestyles at the age of 26. They navigated through “adulting” by budgeting for housing, transportation, groceries, student loans and more. Real life lessons were learned today. Special thanks for the help from the wonderful community volunteers. We couldn’t do it without you!

October 28 - 31: https://secure.smore.com/n/apsjk Halloween is Thursday 10/31, and we are dressing to match our grade level classmates. The dress code is still in affect. That means no face coverings, costumes, or anything else that may distract from the learning of others.

Students will be scheduling conference times beginning Tuesday 10/22, during Viking Time. Please answer or respond to their calls and messages to secure a time that works best for your family on 10/28 and 10/29. This is an opportunity for students to evaluate their performances in the first quarter of the school year. I encourage all students to take pride in their work and dress professionally, as they would for a performance or even a job interview. Students will be evaluating their efficacy by measuring Grades, GPA, Fastbridge Scores, Average Daily Attendance, Tardies by Period, Hall Passes (time out of classes), and finally a Glow and Goal for the second nine weeks.
