
6th graders started their Halloween unit by making predictions about The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Then, they found a partner with the same prediction as them to discuss their evidence.




Students in Mr.Campmier's FACS lab learn how to make homeade chicken alfredo in order to cook and deliver thier own chicken alfredo to staff tommorow. The students rated the chicken alfredo a 10 out of 10!


During the month of October, students are able to recognize their peers for acts of kindness, or those who are "Caught Being Kind," by writing what kind gesture other students performed and entering them into a drawing for goodies. SparkWheel is promoting kindness during the National Anti-Bullying month.

Middle School students in Mr. Ozier's classes visited Prairie West Pond to collect plants, snails, minnows and other items to create pond ecosystems in bottles they take back to the classroom and study. Students log changes in their small eco systems over a couple of weeks.
