Thank you to the Rotary Club of Parsons for Sponsoring the SparkWheel Attendance Incentive "Money, Money, Money" at Parsons Middle School. Here, Rotary President Ron Holsteen presented SparkWheel Student Support Coordinator Susan Hill and Parsons Middle School Assistant Principal Olivia Nolting with a check. This is the Rotary Club's third year sponsoring this activity. Again, we at PMS thank you all for what you do for the students in our community!


We will be conducting a PRACTICE Lockdown Drill in 5 minutes. This is only a drill, there is no emergency or threat to our students or staff. Thank you.

All 4 teams came home 1-1 tonight with wins against Coffeyville and came up short against Pitt. Great job, Lady Vikes!

Students from Mr.Campmier's technology lab researched general shop safety rules then created posters based off of their findings.







Mrs. Shaffer's leadership class participated in their first "Traveling Tuesday" trip to Garfield school to mentor with Ms. Kaci Wright's class.











Members of both the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) presented a program on the U. S. Constitution in 8th grade Social Studies class.






On Tuesday, Mrs. Hill with SparkWheel held interviews for positions in the PMS Viking Store. Interested students had to fill out applications, collect 3 references from adults inside the building and then were given appointments throughout the day to be interviewed. They were all impressive, followed instructions and everyone got a letter of employment this morning. Life skills and responsibility in action!
