Thanks to Chris in maintenance, Garfield School's overgrown shrubbery is now all freshly manicured, giving the school a much more welcoming atmosphere on the outside, to match all that is wonderfully welcoming inside.

Parsons Tennis is training the next generation of players during Summer Tennis Camp. Following warm-ups, these Pre-K and Kindergarten children were learning the basics of controlling their racquets, the ball, and their form under the tutelage of seasoned players.

One of the 1st - 5th grade students participating in the Summer Tennis Camp this month may well be one of the next future state tennis champions from Parsons High School. The youths spent the morning honing their basic skills in preparation for one day dominating the court.

The Chamber, Parsons USD 503 representatives, City Commissioners, memorial designer Jim Kutz, attendees of Douglass School, and residents of Parsons gathered for the ribbon cutting at the Douglass School Memorial today. The QR Code on the memorial provides access to history.

Parsons USD 503 celebrated the retirement of four of its staff Wednesday, who altogether have devoted 67 years to the district. Retiring were Belinda Cornell, Brenda Ozier, Eric Swanson, and Krisiti Nelson. We wish you all the best in your retirement!
