Parsons Middle School eighth grade got an early glimpse of college life Thursday as they toured LCC, giving them ideas of what they could pursue in high school for dual credit or what degree they may want to pursue after graduation.

Eighth grade students participated in the customary tour of Parsons High School to let them see the layout of the school, where important areas of interest to freshmen are, and learn about various programs they have the opportunity to enroll in beyond required core subjects.

Mrs. Stover's fourth grade students learned about the rock cycle and three main categories of rock, as they examined a rock collection brought in by Mrs. Piva. Some of the rock's contained fossils. Mrs. Piva explained how earth's materials are constantly changing.
