
PHS Principal Rob Barcus spoke to the Parsons Rotary Club Thursday, sharing about changes, students' many accomplishments, and touting PHS teachers', coaches' and students' hard work, even throughout the summer months.

There will be no school on Monday, September 2, 2024 in celebration of Labor Day.


Wednesday was a hot one, with temps hitting the mid 90s, but Garfield and Guthridge students and teachers were very thankful to a donor for the chance to cool down a little with a cold snow cone from The Sno Shack. #PKallDay.

All USD 503 staff received a surprise gift of delicious funnel cakes from The Blue Spoon, courtesy of district administration Wednesday. Staff left with their sweet tooth satisfied and thankful for district administrators who appreciate them.

Back to School Bash for 6th to 8th Graders - Presented by Curious Minds


Better Life Nutrition reached out to customers recently, encouraging donations of school supplies for Parsons USD 503 students. Customers gladly obliged to help students in need. Thank you Better Life for your kindness and consideration for USD 503 students!

Gearing up for a good school year. substitute teachers were provided with a training opportunity today. About 25 subs, with a variety of experience, attended and engaged in the professional development, enhancing their skills in working with students to help them succeed.




Maintenance and cafeteria staff underwent CPR training Wednesday. They are also trained on the use of AEDs and Epi Pens. All staff in USD 503 is trained for the event of an emergency, helping insure someone is able to respond if CPR or other temporary emergency aid is needed.





New teachers to the district participated in orientation and training Wednesday, helping familiarize them with various aspects of the district and introduce them to applications and programs they will be using in their classrooms.
