Ms. Finley's AM class felt what it might be like to be a polar bear in icy water. They put their hands in a Crisco lined bag to see how blubber keeps the bears warm, and a regular baggie to show the difference.
Ms. Finley's PM class experienced the icy waters where the polar bear lives. They placed their hand in a blubber bag made of crisco and a regular bag to feel the difference.

First grade had visitors today from Presbyterian Manor. We created buildings and explained our thinking to our friends.
Mr. Peak brought Vector to first grade. The kids were thrilled to see him move and dance.
