PHS Physics students performed a series simple machine labs recently, mastering the transformation of energy for practical purposes. Lever lab, inclined plane lab, and pulley lab were all used to compare actual mechanical advantage to ideal mechanical advantage.
The van de Graaff static electricity generator was used to demonstrate how lightning forms in thunderstorms in Earth and Space science classes at PHS today. It was a shockingly good time!

PHS has some very talented and hardworking students! After all the Valentines Day orders at the beginning of the week, Culinary students and FCCLA members ended the week just as busy! Students were able to help choose and create a diverse dessert menu for the Curious Minds Benefit this weekend! They even considered the chore of usually having to cut and disperse desserts and chose to do individual desserts to make serving easier for the Benefit.
